Rachels challenge has influnced us by the things rachel herself wrote in her diaries. What rachel did to touch millions of peoples hearts by writing stuff about being kind to other people. And before she died in that homocidal event in 1999, she wrote this most epic essay about chain reactions. And what this was about is that she wanted to see the people being cruel to other people should be kind to other people. To tell the truth if this could actually happen right now the bullying would be no more and millions of people would be happy. So when I watched this video that was headsup that anything could happen in a school that is why I am glad that the schools created the lockdown activity. And when I seen the handprint on the back of rachels old dresser saying:''I am rachel clarke this will touch millions of people''. When I seen this it touched me so much and it taught me a lesson, because life is to short and you will never know what is going to happen the future so what I am saying is please respect rachels challenge and be kind to other people and respect without saying stuff about them. Just respect them and I am sure they will do the same to you. Lets all do this for rachel, because if it wasn't for her and this challenge, people probably wouldn't respect each other so please do this for her and yourself. GOD BLESS YOU:C/SrA Pass

so this girl rachel joy scott had died in a shooting at her school and she was the first person to be shot and killed in it and before she died she wrote a paper called My Ethics, My Code on Which I Live by and she talks about all the things she does and we can do to get rid of all racism bullying and suicides just by doing the little things and i have one main rule that i have always lived by and that rule is enjoy the little things and thats what she did so a reason this had affected me was because imagine your little brother or sister being killed just months after your mother our father has past away that why it affected me so much and put a positive outlook on my life and future and what i can do for others.

Honestly I believe that Rachel's Challenge is a great thing but i do not see the point in know every detail about her life. I can understand that she was a well respected person by a few of the memories that each person she influenced. She was a kind person and still is in my eyes because of the path she left behind her. In my eyes though this is common sense and everyone should already follow this. Rachel has left a hole where she was were only her friend and parents can really honestly feel the loss, but around the world people feel about a pinch of that which is enough to get people to do the right thing. So I agree with what Rachel’s Challenge is doing but I don’t believe that this kind of behavior out of people had to wait until one of the kindest person in the world had to die. I believe it is sad that we as people have to have a group form because of Rachel’s death come around to change how we are supposed to view people. Rachel has a kind nature around her and she knew it was her job to spread it to her friends and family who would then spread the kindness around the world.

The purpose of Rachel’s challenge is a nationwide seminar presented to teens across the nation designed to promote kindness, tolerance, and compassion towards one another. The mission of the seminar is to promote a society not divided on the basis of race, sexuality, religion, and other factors that can cause prejudice towards our peers. Another mission of this seminar is to also promote the use of powerful, positive gossip and to also promote the presence of believing in one’s self and believing in others. The events that started this seminar are still quite tragic to this day. On April 19, 1999, two gunmen entered to cafeteria of Columbine High School armed with automatic and semi automatic weapons and began firing. The motives of the shooting were not present, but were believed to be caused by bullying and past events that caused the gunmen to have a certain outrage towards their fellow peers at school. This event was also a tragic time for police, who at the time were not entirely aware of the proper protocol in order to sustain control of the school and the school grounds in the event of such a disaster. It took over five hours for the police to take back control of the building where they had found to gunmen to have murdered themselves. Rachel Scott was sadly the first person killed in the shooting but her messages of kindness, peace, and social tolerance continue to live on to this day in all thanks of Rachel’s challenge.
Rachel's callenge is more of a way of living rather than a challenge. Before Rachel died she kept a dairy, and the main thing it was how she wanted to change the world. She said that she had this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion then it will start a chain reaction of the same. If just one person could go out there way to talk to someone they normally wouldn't talk to or help someone who was having a hard time, that person would do the same for somebody. Rachel was the first person shot at Columbine high school on April 20th 1999, and later after her death is when her family found all of her drawings and dairy entries stating how she felt. I believe that rachels challenge coming to northside is going to be a good thing because most of the students here dont realize that the bullying they do that put others down may cause what happened at Columbine to happen here. They'll never know how much a little kindness could go, to change some ones opinion on life. I believe this siminar will do good for northside and change alot of atittudes. <3

Rachels challenge is about this girl named Rachel Joy Scott, the first person to die in the Columbine High School massacre. The the challenge was made by her father, Darrell Scott. He established Rachel's Challenge as a non-profit organization, to perpetuate his daughter's example and the two-page "Code of Ethics" she wrote a month before her death. Its mission statement is to "motivate, educate and bring positive change to many young people". The Rachel’s Challenge presentations are given in schools and communities by members of her family and other speakers, using video footage of the Columbine High School massacre and its aftermath, combined with Rachel Scott’s drawings and writings, in a campaign to quell school violence, bullying, and teen suicide. As of 2009, Rachel's Challenge has developed a team of 30 speakers addressing young people in schools and colleges worldwide about Rachel's example. The Rachel's Challenge program includes establishing Friends of Rachel clubs in schools, following the initial presentation, to sustain the campaign's goals on a long-term basis. Schools around the country have incorporated Rachel's challenge into their own clubs bringing the message to their students.

Rachel Challenge is to help with an insipration of kindness to people no matter who they are or their background it all began after the Columbine shooting on April 20, 1999 when it happened Rachel was the first person shot and Killed, not to long before she was killed Rachel had an essay explaining how she wanted to change the world and make a chain reaction with kindness. That is exactly what she is doing now
The pupose of the challenge is to challenge people to act out of kindness not caring what people think of you. Their challenge for schools are to create a safe learning enviornment for all students, improve academic achievment by touching students hearts and minds, provide students with emotional/social education , and train adults to inspire equip and empower students to continue a permenat chain reaction of kindness.Just in 2010 they have done over 1 million live presentations and have made over three thousand presentations made. These presentations have changed many peoples lives and hopefully will continue to change many more and prevent another Columbine shooting incedent from happening.

Rachel Joy Scott born on August 5, 1981that name had me thinking the second I heard it, it remind me of a 17 year girl name Rachel Scott who wanted to change the world but shortly lost her life in a 1999 shooting on April 20 at Columbine High school was one of the first ones to die! I did some research on this girl and fine out a lot the girl she had predicted that she would die young, leaving many letters to God and many stories, and letters praising Him in 6 journals. Her final drawing inspired a book, written by her parents, called "Rachel's Tears". That drawing was a picture of her eyes shedding 13 tears that touch a rose and turn to blood drops. The rose is growing out of a Columbine plant and is connected to a verse from the Bible that says greater love has no man than this, that a man would lay his life down for his friends. Within 2 hours of Rachel, drawing that picture 13 people had been killed at Columbine a teacher and 12 students! If you really think about it Rachel was trying to change the world, she was trying to start a chain reaction by being kind to one another and actually standing up for that person. Rachel Scott was never a bully to anyone she loved people rather you are a nerd or a new kid at school she still talk to you! This inspired millions of people and change a lot life, after she died her family started a program called Rachel Challenge, which will be coming to my school on December 1! Rachel challenge might affect many people maybe even me who knows. It might even change my ways and how I look at things in life! I am glad that I read about this girl and learn a lot about her I wish I could meet this girl and tell her thank you for all you were trying to make a change now she up there in heaven with god as there both looking down on world and saying what a big change I made! God Bless you Rachel Joy Scott! R.I.P those who died that day the 13 people at Columbine High school. Rachels death has provided a great example to show people just how far bullying can go. Its not just because Rachel was the first to be shot but because of what she had been trying to do for a long time before then. She believed that one act of kindness could turn around and become a world full of kindness. She believed that if we could just get people to start this chain reaction then we could live with a hope of a new day. If we could stop bullying and stop being so mean and start haveing a little courage to stand up for others then we could all be thankful for showing how we truely feel and not going around bullying others to make ourselves feel better. That is what i believe rachels challenge is trying to teach us and it is a very important challenge i beleive we all should take. Rachels challenge has tought millions of students and others how kindness may be the only hope for some. that maybe you being kind to that one person could make them think their lifes worth liveing. Rachels challenge has given a positive effect on people by telling them ones hope can depend on anothers kindness. Because of Rachels challenge people are starting that chain reaction she always wanted and now its up to us to see how far Rachels dreams and faith can go.
Blood, Sweat, Tears, and Cries on April 20, 1999 at Columbine High School a shooting massacre of 13 students happened but the main one is Rachel Scott girls who was first killed and shot by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. She was a teen who always touched people’s hearts and helped who ever was new in the school or someone who just needed a friend. So shortly after the deaths of the 13 students, Rachel’s dad discovered these journal entries and a picture of Rachel’s hand saying my name is Rachel Scott and with these hand I hope to touch many hearts and start a chain reaction. Therefore, that is when her dad had started RACHEL’S CHALLENGE a program where they talk about what had happen to Rachel and how she wanted to help the people all over the world and make a big impact or change in life the way. To start is by the heart not the head there never a dry when talk about the columbine shooting and Rachel’s Scott between the schools that it has been to there has been changes and improvement. So say if it were to come Northside High School, it could change some people way of life to start being nicer and stop bullying kids and they make good. Decisions in life the only thing that matters is you R.I.P to the people who were killed in the shooting. I hope nothing like this ever happens again

Rachels challenge has influenced us deeply by the things rachel wrote in her diaries. What rachel did to touch millions of peoples hearts by writing stuff about being kind to other people. And before she died in that homocidal event in 1999, she wrote this essay about chain reactions. And what this was about is that she wanted to see the people being cruel to other people start being nice and kind. If people in this world actually listened and started to do Rachel did, we would live in somewhat perfect world. But people now think it's "cool" and "the thing to do." but it's not, it's rude and it hurts people deeply. Especially if it's just not their day then that one little joke you say could just possibly push them to the edge. Honestly Rachel's challenge rally affected me, by teaching me a lesson. I know now that bullying people has a major effect. (not that I bully just saying) (: if I could I would try and force this into other people (like garibully) so yeah. Can't wait till we do it tomorrow! (: tanyss(:

Basically, Rachel's Challenge is a program to unite the nation into becoming a more kinder, friendlier world. Rachel Scott was the first person to do die in the Columbine High School Shooting on April 20. With kindness and compassion, she inspired many people with her journal writings. The program was created to inspire and empower every student, teacher and faculty worker to create a more positive culture and environment in school. The goal is to create a chain reaction so that everybody can become apart of what has become a huge program. It was designed to break down barriers and influence students to make good decisions. A lot of it is done by 100% participation by students in high energetic activities and interactions with adults and each other. As of right now, the program has changed over 3,000 schools in the United States and is starting to expand over-seas. Rachel challenge updates can be seen on the news, guest show host and on commercials. Celebrities have even taken part of this challenge, encouraging others to take part in it. There are many objectives for the schools that participate and they include: creating a safe learning environment, improve academic achievement, provide us, the students, a more socially active education and finally, to train adults and teachers to inspire a new, permanent positive change. Hopefully with this program in effect, our education could get a lot better and our grades would start to go up and won't be considered the dumbest country in the world. I hope that the program is a success and stays a success and that Rachel Scott will never be forgotten.
C/Airman Jones,
Rachel’s challenge was made to commemorate a girl named Rachel Scott. Rachel was a regular teenager living a regular, until one day that all changed. On April 20th, 1999, Rachel was eating lunch outside with a friend then two of her fellow students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, ran towards her an shoot her multiple times. Rachel was the first student shot and killed during the massacre. 21 students were injured, 12 students, including Rachel, and 1 teacher were killed. Both Eric and Dylan committed suicide during the hostage situation.
Rachel’s challenge is being commemorated because of her acts of kindness and compassion. This challenge was designed to help stop bullying and to create a safe and healthy environment inside communities, schools, and even your home. Rachel’s challenge has influenced the whole entire United States and about 6 other countries. It also has influence the schools inside the U.S! High schools and middle schools today have been changed deeply by this challenge. It has prevented many school shootings, many suicides, and school violence over the past 11 years. This challenge has touched many people’s lives today! It shows how people can do anything if they are motivated to do it. But we as humans can help to stop events like the Columbine High Massacre, from happening!

Rachel Joy Scott was the first person to be killed in the Columbine Massacre. Though, she was only seventeen years old, she showed more maturity than many adults. She was a compassionate and wise individual who’s main goal in life was to make this world a better place. Her legacy lives on and that is why Rachel’s Challenge is one of the most life-changing school programs in America. Rachel’s Challenge was initiated by her father, Darrell Scott; not too long after her death. The purpose of this program is to pretty much create a positive environment in schools, businesses, and the community by starting a chain reaction of compassion and kindness. Darrell got the whole idea of a “chain reaction” from Rachel’s essay “My Ethics, My Codes Of Life”. I have to admit that I knew about the Columbine Massacre, but I was not that familiar with Rachel’s story. So when I became more familiar with it while watching a video in my homeroom class, I was extremely emotional. Rachel reminds me so much of myself. For example, I also try to look for the best in everyone and not make assumptions because you don‘t know what people have been through that makes them how they are. I noticed that for the rest of the week (that I watched the video in homeroom), I was just happy, being nice to others, and not letting other people get under my skin. However, I couldn’t help but notice that there were many people who weren’t as into Rachel’s story as I was. I am hoping that on December 1, 2010, that’ll change. Words can’t express how much I am looking forward to Rachel’s Challenge coming to our school. But what I am looking forward to more is seeing the effect that it will have on our school and our community. And even if God forbid, I am the only student that walks out of the assembly with a desire to take Rachel’s Challenge seriously, then that’s OK; because it only takes ONE to start a “chain reaction”.

Rachel's challenge.i think its crazy what happend at that school. i couldnt imagine being in a situation like rachel and all her other classmates where in. and all of this happens over what? bullying. really? i dont understand why being bullied will lead to killing someone, All your getting out of it is life in jail. like really? ive never been bullied so i wouldnt understand how it feels and what i would make me do. i understand its a horrible thing but to me dragging yourself to killing someone is crazy. its not worth it, theres so many ways so many things one can do to get help. so why turn to death? i believe that everyone needs to have self control and not care what people think of you or what they say. everyone is different and beautiful in there own way. so why have so much judgement over people. it really ticks me off when i see dumb bullies. like what right do you have to butt in into someones life and talk junk and things that dont need to be said, have you ever heard of MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS? it really gets under my skin when people think they have the right to make fun of people or to hurt someones feeling. this topic really interests me and i can go on forever with it. but to sum it up, this goes to all the low life losers who are bullies, YOUR NOTHING making fun of people will get you no where, find something constuctive to do with your lives and stop butting into peoples lives. i think thats enough said.

On April 20, 1999 Rachel became the first of thirteen kids to be killed in the Columbine Shooting, the ways she left the world was with the memories of her acts of kindness and compassion towards that would seem to be remote, creating the foundation of Rachel’s Challenge, along with the contents of her six diaries . Rachel’s Challenge is about helping to start a positive chain reaction of kindness and compassion towards others throughout out our everyday lives at school, work, and communities. More than 300 unsolicited e-mails have been sent in from students who had once planned on committing suicide due to the numerous amount of people how had accepted the challenge, showing each how an act of kindness can go a long way.

Pains…...love…………….shot down at Columbine High School on April 20 1999! 13 people lost their life that day but the first person to be killed was Rachel Joy Scott she was just your normal type of teen who was trying to change the world. She died at 17 knowing that she predicted that she would die young praying and writing to god letting him know that she will be with him soon! Sadly, that day came; she was one of the first people to be killed before she died she had got her note pad and wrote Rachel tears that’s were her eyes crying tears running down her faces which ran on to a rose that turn into bloody tears! Long after she was gone, her dad had started a program called Rachel challenge it has been over to about 100 school now talking about that day and what had happen, Rachel theory to try to change the world was being to kind to one another and if she could do that she thinks it started a chain reactions with everyone. This girl was like a bright and shining star and she still is with her being gone I guess you can say Rachel Scott you did make a change in life you help other people out there and you change are life’s! God Bless you Rachel Joy Scott may god be with you! R.I.P April 20 1999 shooting!

On April 20, 1999 in Littleton, CO and incident happened that would forever be ingrained in American history and changed the lives of many in that community. 2 students by the names of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold went to school with guns and opened fire on students and faculty members. The first person to be shot was Rachel Joy Scott a kind, compassionate teen. A month before she was killed she wrote an essay called “My Ethics, My Code of Life” and in this essay she stated that “one act of kindness would start a chain reaction of the same”. I do believe that will affect Northside in some way. It may not be in a big way but hey I’m mean not everything starts out big. Take the civil rights movement for example, at first it started off small but because of a few people took stand and saying “Hey this is wrong and were not going to stand for this any long” affected our entire nation. Also sometimes if you just change one person life your you have done a great job because that person attitude might change for the better they might just start that chain reaction of kindness though out school and not only though the student but to the staff. Maybe for once some people will help that kid that might be having a hard time in a certain subject, sit with that kid at lunch that no one sit, or befriend that kid that feels like he/she is alone in this world and to let them know they have one person that cares about them. That is all I have to say about this subject matter. RIP to all the students and staff that was murder in the Columbine High School Shootings. PEACE TO ALL!!
Rachel’s challenge has inspired so many people to be kind to other people, and she wrote all those things because she wanted to change the world and make people realize what the world was starting to become and I thank Rachel because listening to all the videos and poems she wrote it touched my heart and made me realize that I can be a better person if I set my mind to it and start helping people be kind to other people and not let them be bullied like garaboo be bullying people and it was tragic for what happened with Rachel but she did inspire the world to do better things and that’s good and I respect that I’m really anxious to here what her father or brother and any other people have to say about Rachel. i think the people coming to the school will touch alot of hearts and let people understand what happened to rachel.

Rachel Scott was one if the first to die during the Columbine High school Shooting. After she died her family started to find drawings and journal entry's of her's basically stating how she wanted to change the world and leave an impact on peoples life. Her father, Darrel Scott, came up with Rachel's challenge. In doing this he hoped that going from school to school, some how this would teach kids that bullying is very unnecessary and you never know when you could be pushing that person to it's breaking point. Her fathers plan was to try and start a “chain reaction” ( this idea coming from her essay, “My Ethics, My Codes Of Life”) to start an act of kindness so that way everyone could get along. As Rachel's Challenge has went from school to school people have realized the impact and the outcome of what bullying leads to. I believe this program has effected every single school that it has visited. I don't know if the people have changed but I do know that they know exactly how Rachel felt, and understand where she was coming from. I think Rachel's challenge coming to Northside is great! A LOT of people need it. I'm not saying our school is full of bullying but it would be nice if it decreased. No school is perfect. I know that not everyone is going to change their ways, but it doesn't hurt if you try. After watching video after video I see why Rachel wants nothing but kindness in this world. There are a lot of mean and hateful people out there and bullying doesn't make anything better. Rachel's Challenge is a very emotional, and educational program that will teach us all very good lesson. I can't wait for it to come to our school. :)

Rachel challenge is trying to stop the bullying, so that what happen to Rachel wont happen again. Rachel tried to stop bullying one person at a time, but her life was cute short by the school shooting. she was the first killed. Her family found some things that she had written. talking about starting a chain reaction. so her family is putting her story out there. so that people can join the chain and stop the bullying.
Cadet/ Msgt. E. Vitt
Well, first off you said to do some research on what the program is. Rachel's challenge is all about being kind to others because a little kindess goes a long way and it will start a chain reaction. Rachel Joy Scott was the first person shot at the Comlumbine school shooting. She had the belief that if you do one random act of kindness it will start a chain reaction. In a paper she turned into her teacher it was all about kindness and compassion and just reaching out to others. She somehow knew that she would die at a young age and she wanted to do as much as she could to touch many lives. She met a kid who was going to kill himself that day and because of her reaching out to him he lived. After her death instead of her family moving on her parents went to go talk to the President and many other people high in authority to get "Rachel's Challenge" started. I think it is a great program and I love how they say they are trying to focus on touching others in their heart instead of just trying to change their mindset. It's a great idea that has done big things in many people's lives and I honestly believe that it does get some people to do random acts of kindness which influences schools greatly by putting a stop to bullying.
C/ "pixy stix"
I think that Rachel’s is about starting a chain reaction of kindness and helping people out emotionally making them feel more confident about themselves and them to go on to do the same. On April 20th 1999 at Columbine high school Rachel Scot was the first to be shot and killed, two weeks later an essay was found in her mattress titled “my ethics, my code of life” and on the back of an old dresser she traced her hand print and in her hand print she wrote these hand belongs to Rachel Scott and they will touch millions of people’s hearts. With this, I believe that Rachel’s challenge is a challenge to take on. This challenge has affected millions of people’s lives already why not keep going. The way that Rachel’s Challenge has affected other schools is amazing because it draws tears from the students even the big bullies or bad ones that the challenge has probably changed them too. If Rachel’s Challenge is taken on by any student it will change the life of at least one person’s life and that is all it takes to start a “chain reaction.” I think that the assembly that are school is going to have is going to change our school’s behavior and hopefully straighten some kids out.

Rachel Challenge has had an very amount on influnces you everyone with hearts. What Rachel did was inspiring and it touched millions of lives. She wrote an essay that she wanted to see a chain of reaction with everyone. Kindness and compassion isnt alot to ask for out of humans. When i saw this video, it touched me and made me realize how myself is as a human being. Not only that this was caused by bulling, it can happen from tolorance, depression and much more. And the fact knowing that this event can occur right now in our schools is cruel. So the fact that Rachel and 12 other people had to die from the fustration the two boys was going through is hurtful. Rachel and i bet the rest had a whole life ahead of them and to look back and see that they don't get that chance like you get. Having that chance to go back and change yourself to a better person. Look at it like if today could be your last, "Wouldn't you want to leave knowing that you touched or your someone special in alot of peoples eyes"? Its life and you should always treat people the same way you would want to be treated. Noone wants to feel like they don't belong or that they different because their hair, clothes, accient, taste, walk, or etc. God made everyone different to stand out and make a difference in the world and peoples eyes. Schools would be safer for students knowing that they can come to school and learn. Not to be trapped in school with people holding guns around on them. Rachel really did touch me and it wants me to go out and make a change in myself. I really do believe Rachels father is doing an excellent job and all i can say is keep it up.
C/Anderson-Monk
Rachel’s Challenge is about one person trying to make a difference in the world. It is about trying to get other people to realize that they cannot wait for others to do good deeds. Rachel Scott was someone who wanted the world to be a better place. She hoped that one day her message would get out and make a true difference. Her challenge is to accept everyone unconditionally. It is one that I know hardly anyone can do. People judge everywhere. People are afraid to do something out of the ordinary. Bringing the awareness of Rachel’s Challenge to a place like Chatham, where judgmental behavior clearly exists, should be a way to stop these harmful assumptions.
C/Cheyenne Brown
Rachel's Challenge is basically anassembly that last for an hour and a half, that will either bring us closer to eachother
or maybe even father apart. It started from a girl named Rachel that got shot and killed in the horrendous shooting at
the combine in 1998, she was a girl that wanted peace in school and in her community. So she started writting essays and doing
different things to try and get people to work better together and not to all like eachother but to make us all see that everyone
isn't the same and if we just treated everyone better then maybe it would be a better place. I think that by bringing rachel's
challenge to our school I think it will get us to start opening our eyes and seeing everyone for who they actually are, but do I think that it will take longfor us to go back to the same way we are now, no I don't but its worth a shot.
Cadet O'Neale
Rachels Challenge is pretty much a family began and run program that influences young people to join a chain reaction that states that you will be kind to other people. I love the program and i love the idea. It has caught my attention and made me see that even though I am nice it is very possible to be even nicer and kinder! =) Life is short and tomorrow is not promised, so as a person (christian person for me) we must attempt to leave a POSITIVE mark on people and places that we've met or been. As rachel said you NEVER know what a little bit of kindness will do to affect someone's day or someone's life.
Cadet Armn 1st class Catunao
Rachael’s challenge has influenced people by showing them how bullying effects people. like how bullying effected Harris and klebold in the columbine shooting in which racheal was killed in. the columbine shooting was started cause of the kids were bullied and in the influence of heavy violence games but now getting back on topic. Rachael’s challenge shows that who ever you bully you might not know what they are going through. Like on kid might bully a kid about his parents and lets say that the kid never met his parents or they died. But knowing how that hurts the kid. It also has influenced schools by showing them how bullying is a big problem in schools and that you not knowing about whats going through the persons life can really effect you.
The program is based on the essay entitled “My Ethics, My Codes of Life” written by Rachel Joy Scott, the first students killed at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. As part of her essay, Rachel Scott wrote, "Compassion is the greatest form of love humans have to offer." This essay was found in her room by family members a few weeks after Rachel died. She was the first victim in the Columbine shootings in 1999. Rachel's Challenge is a program started by her family that consists of five challenges based on Rachel's journal entries. The program urges students and parents to: eliminate prejudice by looking for the best in others, dare to dream, set goals, keep a journal, choose your influences, use kind words and start a chain reaction with family and friends of kindness and compassion. In her essay, Rachel asks for all of us in her generation to live by her challenge. Rachel lived out this challenge in her own life and was known at Columbine High School for being a friend to students who were not popular or who had difficulties in school. Now her example and challenge have change tens of thousands of students’ lives across the country.

Rachaels challenge is changing the lives of kids all across america. the program is basically trying to start a chain reaction of kindness to prevent what happened at columbine high school from happening to some other school. participants are challenged to help to everyone they can so that the person they helped can spread acts of kindness to. I feel that this program can help if not eliminate then cut down the amount of bullying.

Rachel’s challenge has had a great impact on several people including me. What really affected me was her dream to touch the whole world and how she had a theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion then it would start a chain reaction of the same. Just the way that she wanted to chow kindness to everyone really shocked me. I would have never thought that anyone could show everyone kindness and never be mean. But I guess I was wrong Rachel’s Challenge encourages us to be more like her and show everyone kindness doesn’t matter if their new or don’t have nice clothes or is unpopular just be nice to them. It doesn’t mean u have to be best friends with them just show compassion. I guess Rachel’s prediction of her touching the heart’s of millions of lives came true. So try to be like her and try to show people kindness no matter how it makes you look, and remember NO BULLYING!!!! :)

I think that Rachel's Challenge is a great opportunity for young adults, as well as teachers and staff, to reflect on their influences on other people and how they can possibly change their actions through a simple gesture. Rachel Scott was and still is a very unique individual that wanted to make change in the world through "chain reactions." She meant that if one anonymous person gave a simple "hello and how are you doing" to another student that looked like they were sad that day, then that person or another that saw the simple gesture would continue the "chain reaction" and create a more sensible and comforting environment. This program is designed to make to sit back and reflect on yourself as an individual and as a whole and find out how to make the world a better place starting with the simple acts of kindness! I 100% completely and totally accept Rachel's Challenge!
Rachel's Challenge is a program that has been set up in memory a Rachel Scott. She was a victim of the Columbine High School shooting. Rachel's Challenge, challenges everyone who goes to the seminar to reach out and be kind to others. Most people would think being nice to other people wouldn't be a challenge, but in a lot of school experiences across the country. Students have become the victims of unkindness and the cruelty of other students. I think any program that can hopefully fix such a serious problem is a good thing and I hope that Northside High School with gladly accept Rachel's Challenge.

Rachel’s challenge is a family run program, to get people to start being nicer to each other. Rachel’s family, who run the company want to start a “chain reaction”. The program is all about helping kids. It’s goal is pretty much to make schools safer and a better place to learn. Since Rachel’s challenge has been around, school shootings have been prevented. Suicides have been prevented. Also, more and more people are starting to get the message. The message being that everyone should treat each other the right way.

rachels challenge has influnced me with everything that she had happen to her, and what she wrote. This made me think about i have in my life. This makes me really think about how people get named without people getting to know them. this shows that people can make a change you just have to give them a chance. That the people you have talked before you can are could give them another chance and actually meet them for the first time. It was a powerful emotional story it was very touching, it made me think about how powerful and how can it effect people in a powerful way.
