Moammar Gadhafi is the dictator of Libya that put himself as the leader of Libya when he was about 28 years old when he was the rank of a Lt. Col. Right now there the people of Libya are trying to kick him out of his position to the country but he refuses to leave and is responding with force. He is denying that he is doing this but a pilot had flown to a different country because he didn’t want to go and bomb the protesters. The affects of this will most likely will cause a lot of damage to the economy because the American economy is already bad but we don’t get a lot of stuff from that country but that country is a friend to us but by later in time if this is kept up then we will not be Libya’s ally. The things he is doing is very wrong because why would go and kill your own people, that is the stupidest thing you could because when you do something the whole world will know it and that you will named as a bad person.

moammar gadhafi also known simply as Colonel Gaddafi born 7 June 1942 has been the leader of Libya since a coup in 1969. he became the longest serving of all current non-royal national leaders and he is one of the longest serving rulers in history. in February 2011, major political protests broke out in Libya against Gaddafi's government. As of February 23, 2011, Gaddafi is reported as having lost control of the eastern region of the country the United States supported the UN resolution providing for Libyan independence in 1951. the new governmet could declair war on us because the US and Libyan ties have become very strained. Libyan airforce have already upprovoked have shot at US air planes doing a routine survailance mission. the US planes shot back and quickly shot down the planes.

Momar Gadhafi is an influencial milishia commander in Lybia. He is killing inocent people. He claims that the protsters should be stopped. If this continues it could have a substanstail global impact. Due to the fact egypt is a large producer of gasoline. The US happens to get a large amount imported from there. If we cant get a constant supply due to the rioting our economy will rapidly collapse. If that happens the global economy will start to fail as well.

who is Moammar Gadhafi?
Moammar Gadhafi is someone that likes to start fights and keed stuff steard up with people in his country.
How is it going to affect the US economy?
It is going to affect the us economy by the war and everything that's going to happen now that Moammar Gadhafi is stearing all this commotion up.He(Moammar Gadhafi)is having his supporters to go against the Libyan protesters so he(Moammar Gadhafi)can defend his embattled regime Tuesday. So Moammar Gadhafi is basically going after everyone he can find to defend him and fight for or against the people that's in his location.
What is going on in his country?
In Moammar Gadhafi country he have people going to people that love him(Mammar Gadhafi)to get out of their homes and go and attack the people in their lairs(homes). The celebratory gunfire by Gadhafi supporters rang out in the capital of Tripoli after the leaders speech while in protester-held Benghazi,Libya's second-longest city, their were people throwing shoes at a screen, showing his address, venting their contempt. The state TV showed a crowd of Gadhafi supporters in Tripoli's Green Square. The Residents that was contacted by The Associated Press said no antigovernment protesters ventured out of their homes after dark.
Moammar Gadhafi, an eccentric leader, came to power in 1969. Gadhafi vowed to bring Islamic socialism to Libya, and said he was the worlds answer to Mao or Castro. He has been in power for forty two years, and during his reign he has switched policies and allegiances. When Gadhafi was sixty eight years old, he was on the top of the international terrorism list. Gadhafi was a fierce critic of al Qeada and called it a common enemy that must be fought. Moammar Gadhafi called for his supporters to impose control over the capital and take back other cities. After a week, protesters, joined by defecting army units, gained control over almost the entire eastern half of Libya’s Mediterranean coast. This includes several oil- producing areas. As a result, oil prices soared to the highest level in more than two years, creating an international alarm, and sparked a scramble by European and other countries to get their citizens out of the North African nation. Moammar Gadhafi’s son went on television to warn the people of Libya that the anti-government protests could lead to civil war, or Western colonization. “We will have a constitution… We will tomorrow create a new Libya. We can agree on a new national anthem, new flag, new Libya. Or be prepared for civil war.”

Moammar Gadhafi is a Libyan dicatator who has been in power for over 30 thirty years. Because of his extended rule, many protest have broken out in different parts of Libya, leading to a significant amount of injured and killed peoples. There has been riot control placed on some of biggest cities in Libya because of pro-Gadhafi protesters are murdering those against him. Libya supplies 2percent of the world oil. However since the protest and since major cities are under protest control, shipment has all but ceased. This will results yet another peaking of oil prices. Saudi Arabs will replace any oil that Libya falls short upon. They can charge any price they wish, since the Middle East controls the oil industry.

Who is Moammar Gadhafi? Well Moammar Gadhafi is a leader in Libya. He was born 7 June 1942. He is married to Safia Farkash, former nurse from Al Bayda, who is his second wife. Gaddafi has eight biological children, seven of them sons. He has also adopted two children, Hanna and Milad. He came to power in 1969 and he was about 27 years old, so that means he has been in power about 42 years now. He has continually been switching policies and allegiances throughout the decades. He has been one of world's top sponsor of international terrorism and has caused odds with the United States. President Ronald Reagan called him the "mad dog of the Middle East" and said that Gadhafi's goal was "a world revolution, a Muslim fundamentalist revolution." He has not been able to do that, but the U.S. government and also Europe government want him to get out of power so there will not be more terrorist attacks on different parts of the world.
How is what is going on in his country going to affect the US economy? Well the economy might be effected by the war, since Lybia wants to start a new national anthem, new flag, and new Libya if not that they will start a civil war to get what they want.
Moammar Gadhafi (Qaddafi) is the Libyan president.
The people in his country are rioting, which is causing the supply of oil to go down and the price of gas to go up. This in turn is causing the price of what we buy here in America to go up.
Why are the people of his country rioting?
The citizens are having their right taken away. They do not make enough money to provide for their families.
The U.N. Voted today (Saturday) to stop Gadhfi’s acts of violence toward the protesters.
Being that the United States of America is part of the United Nations we are most likely going to send over troops to take cake care of this issue.
This in turn will cause a need for more military recruits in the Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
Now the tax payers will start to get upset here in America and possibly protest our own government.
What I think we could do to stop this from happening is rather than starting war in his country, we could try to help them out by sending in food. However this probably wouldn’t work very well because they despise us cause of their Religious leaders.
Maybe we should leave them alone and let them solve their own problems and take care of him their selves, or maybe not…

Moammar Gadhafi, a.k.a, Colonel Ghadafi, is a Libyan dictator. He has been in control of Libya since 1969. Gadhafi is one of the longest serving rulers in history. He actually became the longest serving ruler of all current non-royal national leaders, as of mid-2009. The U.S. government is now working to put an end to this long and brutal rule. To say that Gadhafi’s way of treating his people is cruel, that would be an understatement. He is a MONSTER. For example, he’s been accused of ordering the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. This event killed 270 people. It has also been stated that he is “swatting humans like mosquitoes”. If he has to step down, he wants to go out with a “Big Bang”. But that’s not where the problem ends. Since, Libya has the largest oil reserves in Africa, all of this rebellion against Gadhafi, has caused a disruption in the flow of oil. As a result, oil prices went up to $100 a barrel on Thursday (but it’s probably even higher now). This is the first time that this has occurred since 2008. Even though, most of Libya’s oil goes to Europe, this entire issue still affects the global market. If things continue this way and Ghadafi is not stopped, then we can expect gas prices to increase. As if any of us needs that to happen…Also, if you need more to convince you on how corrupt Moammar Gadhafi is, here’s his quote on AIDS: “[AIDS is] a peaceful virus, not an aggressive one…If you are straight, you have nothing to fear from AIDS.”
Cadet Kucherka
Moammar Gadhafi is a cheat, a murderer, and above all a powerful individual. He has controlled Libya for 40+ years and hasn’t stepped down yet. Protesters have stood up to him, but he uses his military force to bring “peace to Libya.” Gadhafi also controls the oil companies of Libya. All he has to do is tell them how things will work and the oil companies will shut down or raise their prices.
This will damage our economy as we “average Americans” know it. Our gas prices are predicted to go up to $5.00 per gallon in the summer, but we are already being hit by the prices and the oil is not even coming down the pipe yet. Libya’s protesters keep falling and we, as average Americans, keep watching and hoping that something will turn for the better good for us, for Libya, and for the world. Our president is doing whatever it takes to bring peace to Libya, deal with Iraq, and up hold America all at the same time. So, our economy is not doing well now, but if things turn for the better, then possibly the world might finally be at peace, but who can honestly say that it will be that way?

Who is Moammar Gadhafi?
Is a fighter says to ''fight to his last drop of blood.'' What does that tell us? The speech by the Libyan leader who shouted while pounding his fists on the podium was an all-out call for his backers to impose control over the capital and take back other cities. That terrible week the army finally got the cities back what was Moammar Gadhafi going to do oncehe had the cities in his power? The Libya didnt agree with Moammar Gadhafi so they tried to kick him out of his high position. Moammar Gadhafi was only 28 and already considered a dictator, he is killing inocent people. He claims that the protsters should be stopped. Egyot is one of the major producers of gasoline and this is where the american get there gasoline from. If we cant get a constant supply gasoline becaue of the rioting our economy will collapse.

Moammar Gadhafi is the leader of Libya since 1969. He's took control of Libya when he was 28 as a captain in the army, he led the 1969 coup that deposed King Idris I. In 1970 he closed U.S. and British military bases and expelled Italians and Jews. He banned alcoholic beverages and gambling and in 1973 nationalized the oil industry. People now are protesting against him and Gadhafi refuses to leave and threatens to use violent means of keeping his leadership position. He decides to bomb Libyan protesters and one of the pilots didnt want to so he flew to another country. The events going on in Libya will make the U.S not be an ally with Libya leading to an economic problem because gas comes mostly from the middle east and without the supply of gas the prices will go up and stuff.
Berberovich
Mommar Gadhafi has been the leader of Libya since 1969. He became the leader after he served in the military and established himself as commander in chief and chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council. After becoming chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council, he slowly made his way to be the ruler of Libya. The people of Libya have been on the streets, risking their lives, protesting the further leadership of Mommar Gadhafi. There have been an estimated of 300 deaths due to this outbreak of protests. Even with that high number of deaths these protests are still strongly continuing. This is affecting both Libya and the U.S. in different ways. Libya is being affected by the many un-necessary killings, and the once semi-peaceful country is now on the brink of a war. The U.S. is being affected by the friendship, that the U.S. once held with Libya, is now dissolving. Also the U.S. economy is being affected by the rapid increase of gas prices. The U.S. has tried to stay out of this issue by saying that the people of Libya need to decide for themselves who their leader should be.
C/ Ssgt Grayson
Gadhafi was in the military before becoming self appointed leader of Libya in 1996. He has been the longest person in office in Libya he was the leader ever since 1969. Right now his own people are trying to kick him out of office and get a new person in office. According to “Wikipedia” he has “amassed” 60 million dollars. If he gets kicked out there could be the possibility of the gas prices going up.
Along with the gas prices the Suez canal could possibly be closed off for western trading and that could delay our route through the eastern part of the world and vice versa. Also we might have a new enemy depending on the person that comes to office if he gets kicked out. We might also have terrorism spreading through Africa making the war alot harder to fight. And allies could possibly become enemies. depending on who comes to office if he gets kicked out or not will determine if we have an ally or an enemy. But if Gadhafi can get his country under control we wouldn’t have to worry about any of that coming to pass but if not we might have a problem on our hands.
Cadet Cardwell
Col. Moammar Gadhafi is the leader of Libya. Col. Gadhafi took power after a coup in 1969. Currently his country is in dissent from mass political protest. Many other countries in the region are having similar protests with their respective governments, but Gadhafi is the only leader to decide to "fight to the death" in defense of his leadership of the country. While the protests in the Middle East itself are dangerous for the American economy, I doubt that Libya specifically would have much impact on our economy considering Libya is not a close ally, or even an neutral ally for that matter, and does not like doing business with us. Gas prices will rise for Americans with a bit of a surge, but if you look at our current administration's agenda that would work perfectly into their good fortunes as our current administration endorses "Cap and Trade" and mass transit provided by the government and what not. Gas prices are already on the rise and will continue to rise as Americans continue to import 62% of the oil they consume. The protests themselves may become more problematic as more information comes in on the deaths of these protesters in Libya will generate international unrest and possibly a new war in the world.
Cadet D.Del Fierro
Moammar Gadhafi is Libya’s leader, who was born in June 7, 1942 Surt, Libya. He’s the fourth longest serving of state that is currently in office. Though he didn’t take a higher position. Gadhafi decided to take a smaller promotion to colonel. Since Libya is ruled by the people, he thought that there would be no point for a higher title. At age of 28 he took that position. He has been the leader of Libya since 1969. Though in the past he was called for terrorism. Also he is known as the "mad dog of the Middle East."
For now the people of Libya is attempting to kick him of office, but Gadhafi seems to be refusing the peoples request and enforces his determination with force. Due to this unfortunate event the economy would end up failing. This is because we get a numerous amount of supplies over from Libya and if this continues their economy would collapse as well. This cause some to think he is a deviously bad person, and to others, I don’t see why, he’s a good person trying to fulfill his duties as leader.
Cadet Martinez
Moammar Gadhafi has been a tyrant leader of Libya since 1969. This makes him the longest serving of all current non-royal national leaders, and one of the longest serving rulers in history. Right now it is extremely chaotic in Libya, out of control to say the least.
Moammar’s people have overthrown him from his position. In response he unleashed the army on his own people, sanctioning the use of bombs and gunships to control the protests. He's hired mercenaries to snipe protesters in attempt to frighten their manifestations. His actions scream to the world that he is not going down without a fight. A person in defiance to Moammar’s polices risks death. Though many eastern cities have gone anti- Gadhafi he is not giving up. Instead he is calling for Libya to be split so that he can still take charge in Western Libya. This unrest is unfinished and only time will tell what is next, one thing is for sure it won’t be pleasant.
America is concerned with Libya because of the affect it will have on our economy. Because Libya is oil exporter prices of oil have gone up. This whole uprising puts the country at hostage by the threat of $5-a-gallon oil, something our economy cannot take. This occurrence will have a negitive impact on us ecomony !

The Topic of the blog is that who is Moammar Gadhafi? Also how can the problems in his country affect in the American economy?
First Moammar Gadhafi is an ex Col of the Libyan military, and is the current “president” of Libya. The “President” of Libya is now suffering riots and civil unrest from Egypt that eventually spread into the surrounding countries such as Libya, most of North Africa and even spreading in the United States. The current problems is that the Commander and chief of the United States is approving of sanctions in Libya and that caused more frustration in the country as well as in the United States. Current the problem is that the abroad problems are affecting the uses of our oil imports in the Middle East. That’s also why the gas prices have rose because of the problems abroad. The possible answers to the problem is either force Gadhafi out of office and to be taken into custody then let have American government aid to Libya and have American government aid to have elections in his country. So that’s the explanation of the Moammar Gadhafi and the problems in his country.

Moammar Gadhafi is from Libya. He is the dictator of Libya, who is leading a revolt with his supporters. His mission to impose control of the capital and the other cities in Libya. He has lost control of his protestors and is sending military to try and control them. The defecting army units tool control over most of the eastern half of Libya’s 1,000-mile Mediterranean coast. Its huge considering it includes several oil-producing areas.
The man’s son. Seif al-Islam Gadhafi, is only fueling the revolt saying if the protesters do not stop than the city and the rest of the country will be thrown into a civil war. It is potentially disastrous because the cities and their leaders will be forced to chose sides. The son refuses to believe that the United States, the West and Europe will allow Islamic emigration. The son beliefs gives way to hope. He is telling the people they will lift the “stupid punishments” , call for new civil rights and media laws. Seif al-Islam Gadhafi, wants to make peace and a new government were everyone appeased. On the contrary the son is not giving up on his father.
Our Commander-in-Chief President Barrack Obama, had decided Gadhafi must go. This quick claim outburst could put the USA gas prices in the $4-$5 ranges. Gadhafi will retaliate in more than pretty words. He controls the majority of US oil. My belief Obama didn’t think about us than he did about how Gadhafi will retaliate to his own people.
Cadet Stone:
Muammar Qaddafi has been the ruler of Libya since 1969. He grew up in a desert region and received a religious primary education. Qaddafi along with a small group formed the core leadership of a group that took control over the country. In 1961, for political activism, Qaddafi was expelled from Sebha. Qaddafi was dubbed "The mad dog of the Middle East" by President Raegan. A ban was declared by the U.S. on Libyan oil in March of 1982. What is happening in Libya will affect U.S. gas prices. The ruler of Libyam Muammar Qaddafi, has lost control over his people. Because of this he has begun to use mass violence toward his people. He arranged to bomb a group of protesters that disagreed with what he is doing. Qaddafi is killing off his own people and the United States will most likely get involved and use force to stop it if it continues. The U.S. and many of the countries believe that if Qaddafi is having to use such violence to stay in control that he is not fit to vbe in power. Obama says he should do what is right for his people and just step down.
Moammar Gadhafi is the political leader of Libya. He has been in power for over 20 years now and has been doing wrong for a number of years. People finally want him out of power and he refuses to give it up. The things he is doing are wrong. He is using the military to bomb and fire at peaceful protesters. The economy here is bad enough. The sanctions we have put on their country will not affect us AS MUCH as they affect Libya. I think that they will be forced to comply before we feel the effects of Libyan sanctions just for the fact that we have other countries to depend on. I think that personally we should intervene. The reason I think this is because they are shooting and bombing innocent protesters. He has been in power to long and he has done wrong before. Panam flight 103 in 1988. Libya (under gadhaffi's control) admitted to the bombing of the Boeing 747. While the formal admittance to this disaster was in 2003. Gadhaffi has been in power for too long and I believe it is a matter of time before other countries intervene. He needs to go. Cadet Myers

Moammar Gadhafi
Recently you may have heard about the protests in Libya lead by one of Libya most powerful leaders by the name of Moammar Gadhafi. Moammar Gadhafi is one of the most powerful leaders of a Libya regime who on Monday came on national television and advised that the anti-government protests would lead to civil war. He spoke behind a podium entrance of his Tripoli that was bombed by u.s airstrikes. Weird thing it was bombed in the 1980’s and he has left it unrepaired ever since as an effort to relay a message of defiance. I believe this one man is defiantly going to make a difference within the Libyan community and within the United States. I believe that within the four corners and 8 continents on this earth there will be some facet of rebellion or defiance within our communities. The United States alone is going to have endless forms of rebel alliances form and acts of anti-patriotism show reveal itself in even more of a drastic fashion then just a televised outrage. It is because of this spoken message from a very powerful man some people will have the confidence to speak out against government. As for affecting our country it will defiantly present wars and conflicts to the u.s we don’t want.

Moammar Gadhafi is the 68 year old Libyan leader who is known as one of the longest serving leaders in history and has ruled Libya since 1969 by launching a military coup. He was born June 7, 1942 in a tent in a desert near Surt, Libya. As a child he attended a Muslim Elementary School and at the age of 19, he attended the Military Academy at Benghazi then graduated at the age of 23 years old. He has 4 children and is a divorced parent. Libya is located in Africa and is the 4th largest country in Africa. Since Libya is the 12th largest oil producer in the world it affects us in many ways. Now that it is getting harder to get oil from Libya it cost the United States more money to import oil and this includes the explanation to the crazy gas prices. Right now Libya is afraid that producing oil might come to a halt so this is why gas prices are going up at this moment so if they happened to stop producing oil at any time gas prices will go even higher and more outrageous then they are now
Gadhafi's vow: Will fight to 'last drop of blood'
Muammar Gadhafi aka “Col. Gadhafi” was born June 7, 1942. Gadhafi has been the leader of Libya since the coupe of 1969. In a state of protest, many of the Libyan citizens have filled the streets protesting against Gadhafi and voicing their opinions on reform of the government. The government in an attempt to silence the protestors has blocked the use of public access to the Internet and mobile phone networks. The government has also begun to use security forces to defend Gadhafi and as a sign of loyalty many of the police supporters have used lethal force against peaceful demonstrators. The United States and the European Union has released reports stating that the government has no right to take away the freedom of speech and the freedom of assembly. Due to Gadhafi not leaving from power and citizens continuing to rise up in protest many of the Libya oil producing plants have either been shut down or destroyed. Over half of Libya’s oil industry has shut down causing barrel prices to soar to $100 a barrel. Furthermore the US dependency on oil can be drastically affected if the uprisings continue into countries like Saudi Arabia and other oil-producing giants. The US is a major player in the oil game and if the oil production goes down and prices go up, it could mean that the cost of gas and oil will skyrocket. I believe that the fighting needs to stop and Gadhafi needs to step down. He doesn’t want to leave from power and he doesn’t want to give up the money, those are the reasons why he won’t leave from power. The US economy is definitely going to be affected by the conflict in the Middle East and not for the better.

Moammar Gadhafi is a dictator from the Northern African Nation in Libya, who may finally lose control of his nation after fourty one years, when he lost to a large protests from his people, which began in the eastern city of Benghazi on February 16th. This all started when the citizens wanted Gadhafi to step down from his power, but he refused. After he rejected the people of Libya, it caused protesters to flood the streets of Libya, fighting for new rights and freedom. Gadhafi felt as if they wanted to do something worse, but didn't have the power to do so, so he demanded and sent helicopters and warplanes against the protesters in the streets. Dropping bombs and tear gas everwhere there was protesters, hoping they would go home and forget about there thoughts of getting rid of Gadhafi. Moammar Gadhafi is also trying to destroy Libyas oil feilds, which could ruin there economy. Gadhafis jeolosy and rage of Libya has gotten worse. It seems that hed rather wreck and destroy his country than to see is be ruled by someone else. The soil sector makes up ninety five percent of Libyas export earnings and more than eighty percent of government revenues. Seeing that the United States gets its oil from Libya, so if Gadhafi destroys the oil feilds in Libya, our oil will decrease by more than seventy five percent, which could change the veiw of oil use in the world.
Who is Mommar Ghadafi?
Mommar Ghadafi. A leader of his country? Some may think he his. Wrong he's a dictator who has ruled his country of Libya for 40 years. Now that the young people of Libya are taking initiative he is being even more cruel. He has killed over 300 plus protestors. These are not the traits of a leader, but a dictator who rules with a iron fist.
What will the affects be?
Due to the fact we receive much oil from Libya, if this civil war between Protestors and Ghadafi the u.s will not be receiving that oil. If that happens the u.s economy will begin fall apart due to outrageous gas pricing.

Colonel Moammar Gadhafi is Libya’s longest tenured ruler. Born June 7th 1942, he has been the leader since 1969. His regime includes acts of terrorism in the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s. In 1972 he was appointed prime minister of Libya. With his country in a revolution, their oil supply is important to us here in the US, even though we import about 1 percent of oil from there. But around the Middle East we import around 9 to 11 percent of our oil. Oil prices in Asia rose to $ 88 a barrel and if the prices in Libya rise up we possibly could be importing around 10 percent from Libya, and possibly between 15 percent from the Middle East as a whole.

Moammar Gaddafi is also known as Colonel Gaddafi. He has been the leader of Lybia ever since 1969. He is associated with a lot of terrorism in his country. He is one of the longest serving leaders in history. He has made a fortune of 60 billion dollars for him and his family. During Feburary 11, political protests led to a government uprising against Gaddafi's government. As of February 26, Gaddafi reports that his country had lost control. He is not nice and he is bad to people. The things that are going on over in Lybia are affecting everyones' oil prices. It now cost 100 dollars for a barrel of oil. With our economy starting to strengthen up, these oil prices are going to hurt us. Rising oil prices have already put jet fuel to three dollars a gallon. Delta Airlines have already decided not to add further flights this year. Some experts and analysts say that our economy can still grow with even 110 dollars per barrel due to the fact that more industrialized countries have become more energy-efficient. Big commercial companies like Wal-Mart are already starting to hurt. Perkins from NBC says, "more people will shop at neighborhood dollar chains or drugstores to pick up milk or bread and save on gas, further hurting Wal-Mart..." This could be good in ways. With people starting to walk to places means less oil consumption. People would get some exercise in maybe dropping obesity percentages. Due to my contemplations of my speculations, Moammar Gaddafi is not cool.

Moammar Gadhafi is the president of Libya, Moammar has ruled over his country since 1969. He was not elected he took over by a bloodless coup. He is 68 years old. He is also a big part of the news this past month. By being stupid. He has attacked and killed his own people. He has hired mercenaries from other countries to protect his streets and kill anyone in them. He has had his people locked up in their own houses.
How is what’s going on in Libya going to affect us?
Libya is a major oil producer and a lot of their oil goes to us. Just a few days ago new York times reported that half of Libya’s oil industry shut down. Which raised oil 100$ a barrel. What that means is it will cost a lot more money to get gas and will raise the price of gas to an extreme high.
Cadet Streiff
Gadhafi Came to power in 1969 and vowed to bring Islamic socialism to Libya and for the last 42 years has been a high profile person to pay attention for. He was entered on to the america’s most wanted list before Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden were. President Ronald Reagan ordered an air strike on his compound, he escaped but his adopted daughter was killed. There has been a lot of protesting to take him out of power and he has been saying that he will not let go of the position that he has. The unrest in his country has sparked the attention of the U.S. dealing with the effects on the oil that we are receiving from that country and the future relationship between the US and them. This relationship could possibly make or brake the future of the US economy and put strains on the world economy as well. The world has been watching everything in the country unravel on TV and trying to help steer the country into the direction that is best for almost all of the countries as a whole.
